EMS clients continue to ask how to reduce cost associated with any direct mail campaign? In addition to our highly competitive production costs, reducing the postage, the single most expensive part of any DM program, is our goal.

In 1987, EMS began a co-pal system utilizing a licensed/bonded third party to move your outgoing mail to BMC/SCF locations. This system has rewarded our clients with significant postage discounts. EMS bundles full skids using multiple client's mail trays going to the same BMC/SCF destinations. Mail trays are piggy-backed onto these pallets allowing a greater volume to go to those BMCs and SCFs subsequently providing an enhanced discount to ALL mail. Postage is reduced, and transportation costs are minimized by sharing that cost among multiple jobs.

Typically, the larger the mailings, the better the discount, but for those having smaller quantities, EMS has a solution. EMS Postage Optimization Program (EPOP^TM ) combines front-end DP with commingling and co-pal to save postage on any size mailing.

In fact, EMS consistently saves clients tens of thousands of dollars each week using these solutions.
